Details of a new Busch Gardens thrill ride leaked this week, revealing what park officials are calling “one of the most physically memorable experiences ever engineered,” set to debut this summer under the name Testicle Twister.
According to internal documents, the ride combines high-speed rotational forces, sudden directional changes, and what engineers describe as “focused lower-axis agitation dynamics,” creating a sensation that early testers reportedly described as “deeply personal.”
Park officials declined to confirm the name directly, but did wryly acknowledge the ride is designed to deliver “a 'fantestic' experience.”
“This is about pushing boundaries,” said one spokesperson. “Guests are always asking for something new, something they’ll never forget. We believe this will be that ride.”
The leaked plans indicate that riders will be launched into a series of rapid spins and abrupt drops before entering what designers refer to as the “Torsion Zone,” a mid-ride sequence engineered to maximize what documents call “peak rider reaction.”
It’s at that exact moment that on-ride cameras will capture a high-resolution photo of each guest.
As with other Busch Gardens attractions, riders will have the option to purchase their photo at the exit — though in this case, the price point is notably higher.
Commemorative images from Testicle Twister will retail for $150.
Park officials say the premium reflects both the technical difficulty of capturing the moment and the “once-in-a-lifetime nature of the expression.”
“These aren’t your standard roller coaster photos,” said one marketing executive. “This is a very specific, very honest reaction. People are going to want that memory.”
Early mockups of the ride’s photo display show guests mid-ride with what internal materials describe as “a combination of surprise, reflection, and immediate regret.”
Despite the intensity, Busch Gardens insists the ride meets all safety standards.
“We want to be clear: this is a safe experience,” the spokesperson said, adding, "yes, some guests exhibited post-ride voices that were 2 to 3 octaves higher, but the voice returned to normal within a week.“
"And we have ice machines if needed.”
